Together once again…3yrs is too long!!
After such a long time all the old buddies of school got to meet each other at the pre-reunion party. I think it has been around 3 years that we all haven’t met. “That’s a long time” says a friend. True enough it’s been like hell lot more than just 3 years for all of us. All of us were equally excited I guess for this pre-reunion. At first we all looked at each other just as we were looking at aliens probably to identify each other correctly or maybe we needed a little time to be ourselves again. Enough of this stranger’s play we had started talking to each other. We were clicking pictures which if any one would look at would doubt us as mad people. We were freaking and recollecting old days of school. I think the guys had their animal in them out already [they were all jumping around] .The animal instinct in them you see can’t wait too long. So I had a friend, who had joined IIT who was telling us about life at his place and occasionally about the girls there. There was another friend who had joined the IIT but was not present there at the time. We all had already started chatting and cared less about the time. Its like no one disturbs us and we would talk forever. We had so much to talk with each other that time seemed a barrier. Few of them had joined in the University of engineering; few were heading to become future successful doctors, few in the field of sociology or economics, a few future dentists and etc. Every now and then we would get to
see guys running and jumping over each other
. After some time I guess the guys had forgotten the girls and were clicking pictures within themselves, crazy aren’t they? Now to add to this was the sudden rain that spoilt the time. We had to get under a proper roof which we could find nowhere around. So we decided not to fight against rain and finally got a kind of drenched. As I said this was just a pre-reunion party we didn’t entertain ourselves getting wet in the rain. We bid bye to our friends with a heavy heart but with a hope that we would have a reunion soon after. There were a few friends who were not present at the time that we missed a lot. So we are having our reunion after around a month or two. We are going to rock the party screamed a friend as we went back home.
